  • Here's a quick guide to using our online ordering system. The Starbase1.com Cargo Shuttle allows you to select merchandise as you browse our site, keeping track of your selections until you are ready to depart.

    An Overview of how to order from Starbase1.com:
    • Add the merchandise and the quantities that you want to your Cargo Shuttle. Your Cargo Shuttle is intended to act as an online shopping cart, and will keep track of all of your selections, and a running tally of the total purchase price. It is displayed at the bottom of the screen each time that you preview an item from our online catalogs. Please note that the Cargo Shuttle will always display the correct contents - old versions of the shuttle will not appear as you go back through the pages. This behavior corrects an unintended "feature" of the previous version.

    • You can also edit the contents of your Cargo Shuttle to remove items or to change the quantity that you wish to order from the Cargo Shuttle screen.

    • When you are finished browsing and selecting merchandise you will need to confirm that your Cargo Shuttle contains exactly what you want to purchase. You will then need to fill the order form COMPLETELY. We will need all of the information filled out correctly, so that we can process your order, and ship it to the proper address anywhere in the world.

    • We have several billing options as well as several methods for submitting your payment information to us.
    How to Add Merchandise to your Cargo Shuttle:
    • You may add an item to the cargo shuttle (which has been created for you automatically) by pressing the "ADD to Cargo Shuttle" button on the Loading Dock page. The "Place ORDER Now" button will NOT add the featured item to your shuttle
    How to Remove Merchandise from your Cargo Shuttle:
    • Any merchandise which you have added may be removed by unchecking the corresponding "Keep:" box, and pressing either the "UPDATE Cargo Shuttle" button, or the "Place ORDER Now" button.

    • All selected merchandise will be cleared by pressing the "EMPTY Cargo Shuttle" button on the Loading Dock page.
    How to Change the Amount of Merchandise:
    • Click on any of the quantity fields and edit the amount. Then press either the "UPDATE Cargo Shuttle" button, or the "Place ORDER Now" button. The new quantites will be updated in your Cargo Shuttle.
    Billing and Submitting Options:
    • We accept any of the following payment methods - Visa, MasterCard, American Express/Optima, Discover and related cards, and Japan Bank Card. You may send us this information in several ways.

    • First, we have a secure ordering form on a Netscape SSL-security server that you may fill out and submit with your shipping address, credit card number, and expiration date. This information can be kept on file in our store, so that repeat customers do not need to resubmit it.

    • Second, you may fax us your address and credit information. Simply save or print out the verification page, and attach your address and credit card information, and fax it to us at (614)895-7820. We hope to have a toll-free fax line available soon for those customers who prefer this method.

    • Third, we also accept phone orders from noon-8PM Eastern Standard Time every day, except for Tuesdays and holidays. Please indicate that your order is a website order, and have the information from the verification page available to help facilitate your order.

    • If none of these options is available to you, please send us the verification page and your shipping and credit info via ground mail at: 5541 Westerville Rd. Westerville, OH 43081 USA. We will accept money orders via ground mail, but no personal checks, please.
    Shipping Information
    • Generally, all orders of in-stock merchandise are shipped within 2-4 working days by USPS. For overnight or express delivery, please contact us by phone during working hours.

    • Many mail-order companies calculate shipping charges based on retail cost. At Starbase1.com we only charge the shipping cost based on weight and distance, helping to keep your costs lower. Domestic Shipping Rate information is available below.

    • Yes! We do ship overseas to all six inhabited continents at the standard US Postal Service rates. Many of our regular customers receive shipments from us in Europe, Japan, Australia and South America. Simply fill out the order from, and we'll get it to you!
