- Shipping.
Let's face it. Most mail order catalogs just plain rip off their
customers when it comes time to ship their purchase. Some charge
the customer's credit card weeks before their order is
shipped, and overcharge on shipping and handling to pad their
profits further. At Starbase1.com, we think that it's wrong to
base shipping charges on merchandise cost. We base our fees on

we ship out in stock items within 48 hours after you have placed
your order. Using our Impulse Speed shipping option, this means
that you should get your order in the US and Canada within 6-10
days, faster if you specify either Warp Speed (3-5 days), or Transwarp
(overnight). Please note that overnight orders need to be placed

Our online ordering system uses industry-standard SSL (Secure
Socket Layers) for order placement and retrieval. At no time is
your sensitive credit card information transmitted across public

such information by phone or fax, even. We do also accept orders
by phone and fax for those customers who prefer it.
