Bele was first introduced in the Classic Trek episode LET THAT BE YOUR LAST BATTLEFIELD He was the Chief Officer on politcal traitors from the planet Cheron. He pursued an assused criminal named Lokai across the galaxy for 50,000 years, harboring racial prejudice against him because he was of opposite coloring (white on the right, black on the left). He comandeered the Enterprise to take him and his prisoner back to their homeworld only to fiind that it had long ago been destroyed.
